Has any band other than Yes ever been taken over by a member or members of another band for one or more albums? Which one/s?

I always found it strange that The Buggles were complaining about all that new technology in their songs, yet used the very same technology to create and promote their music.

There have been a few but some that come to mind are Uriah Heep who had John Lawton from Lucifer's Friend as the lead singer for 3 albums (and an unreleased 4th), Black Sabbath who had Ian Gillan and Glenn Hughes from Deep Purple and Trapeze as lead vocalists on 'Trashed' and 'Seventh Star', Foreigner who now has Kelly Hanson from Hurricane as the lead singer and members from Dokken and Ratt, the New Cars which was a short lived band that had Todd Rundgren and Kassim Sultan from Utopia with Elliott Easton and Greg Haweks from the original Cars and Van Halen had Sammy Hagar who was a solo artist and lead singer of Montrose as the lead singer for a few albums.
