After a opening weekend of 220 million, last jedi was only 28 million behind Force Awakens. Yet the gap has grown to 95 million by Thursday.
Also compare Avatar which had a 77 million opening weekend to the midweek totals of Last Jedi
Avatar's first Wednesday brought in 16.4 million. Last Jedi did 16.9
OUCH!

From here on out it will probably play out like a typical blockbuster. With hardcore fans livid, TLJ won't have repeat viewings goosing its gross.
But the real damage might be the box office for Episode IX, see Justice League after BvS.

Bad word of mouth isn't hurting this movie, this movie is hurting itself by being so bloody bad.

That 30 million gap from opening weekend between Force Awakens and Last Jedi, has now grown to over 200 million. Jumanji also nipping at its heels on Friday. If that isnt bad word of mouth than I dont know what is......

I've seen it twice now. This one has more rewatchability factor than any of the others imo.
