Today, kids in masks, holding hands in front of a burning car. What did you think they did for entertainment back then? Sega hadn't been invented.

Today, a British Bobby judges an ankle competition... yes, they did actually exist... Wasn't life better when Bobbys went around judging ladies ankles, and taking missing swans home... now they strut about all armed to the teeth, like some paramilitary force, frightening the populace, and keep tazering blind people for carrying their assistance canes.

Today, photography 101 from the olden days... If you don't want a grown up in a photo of your young kids, sit grown up down, throw a curtain over them, and just arrange the little ones on them...

Today, we return to the oldie worlde portrait studio... When you didn't want to hide a grown up under a curtain, you may have wanted a nice prop in your child's portrait... "Mrs Smith, would you like any props in your child's portrait?" "Why yes, a pretty vase of flowers, or a cute animal would be nice" "No, I don't think so Mrs Smith... how about. .. a saw?"

Today, Victorian post mortem photography... These days, the first thing you do when a loved one dies, is to have a blazing family row over who is having their best stuff... Back then, the first thing you did when a loved one died, was to dress everyone in their finest, including the deceased, and gather the family around for a photo... One of the family in this portrait is dead... Can you guess which one?

He looks a bit like Ted Cassidy. He does! Is it a trick question, Father? Are they all dead?
