Arsenal go into the tie, knowing nothing but a 4 - 0 win will see them through to the next leg and with Wengers job on the line potentially, could this be the last straw...?
Ahh who am I kidding, we'll lose and this won't directly affect Wenger staying or not, 2 - 1 to Bayern.

Don't mind if we lose as long as Wenger pisses off.
Goal Walcott, game on....?

If Arsenal could keep this intensity up in the League they would win the League Thats what Graeme Souness just said. He also said they'll lose steam later on, hopefully not. They really needed that 2nd goal before ht. But hopefully an early 2nd one comes.

Utter capitulation, the result of years of mediocrity an complacency, are you happy Wenger fans? Time for change.

2 - 10 on aggregate!
Wenger truly won't be happy until he utterly annihilates his legacy, will he?

Is this the final nail in Wenger's coffin? Even if Arsenal finish 2nd in the League and win the FA Cup, can he possibly survive this?

In the name of God, Arsene, please just fúcking go! 10-2! Tonight wasn't Arsene's fault. I turned it off when it went 1-1 to watch something on BBC, at that point with 10 men the tie is definitely done. But up until then I thought Arsenal played really, really well. They'd found an extra spring in their step, they were getting to everything first, they were making chances, should have had a penalty, just a shame they couldn't make it 2-0 before half time, then it really could have been 'game on'. Obviously don't know what happened after the red card/penalty for them to lose 5-1 as I turned over, but even not having seen it, hard to argue that they deserved to lose 5-1.

Anyway, if I was Arsene Wenger, I'd probably stay away from youtube tonight.

That Bayern side barely got into 2nd gear in the first half. That Bayern players were dissatisfied with their performance despite winning 5-1 should tell you all you need to know. This is the third time in a row they lost 1-5 to Bayern now. And each time it was "bad luck" or somebody else's fault. Not even the worst sort of punching bags in the Bundesliga lose 1-5 to Bayern thrice in a row, including a game at home. Not even Bremen or HSV.

I'm not making any excuses for Arsenal, I'm not a fan of Arsenal, and make no mistake, they are the biggest fannies in the Premier League. BUT, as I say I didn't watch the last 30 minutes where they conceded 4 goals, I ASSUME they just capitulated again, like they did in Munich when it went 3-1, they gave up, it is a poor mentality they have there, but it isn't down to Arsenal's quality being so bad that they are just getting completely outclassed, it is down to them letting their heads go down when things go wrong or things go against them, not having pride in their work. They have embarrassed English football though, and if it was down to me I'd ban them for Europe for the next 2 years.
