They were like high school girls, which is funny because Ciara and Claire are acting like middle school girls. I don't like Jen and Eric together either. I think Eric would look good with Chloe, and they really need to bring on a new 30-something old female, like Sarah Horton.
Jen needs to color and do something about her hair.

I would much rather see Brady and Chloe get back together, and give Brady back his brain.
For Eric... I think they need to bring in a new character; there just aren't enough other characters he's not related to.

If they could forget about Serena, I think Melissa Archer should come back and play her.

I'm all for them bringing on new women for both Eric and Rafe (or Rafe can just leave town).
Like there's a 20 year age difference between Hope and Rafe, and Eric and Jennifer. Jennifer was marrying Jack when Eric was like 6 years old.
And yes, MR needs to do something about the hair. If she wants to go all gray, go for it. But go all gray then. Get rid of the blond. Because the mishmash of colours isn't doing her any favours.
I'd be into them bringing on Sarah Horton in some capacity. And actually the Eric-Chloe idea isn't all that bad.

Eh, I don't know about Melissa Archer; I didn't see a lot of her as Serena, but what little I did see, I didn't care for.
Aimee Brooks, who played Sarah as a kid, is still an actor as an adult, but hasn't had a credit on imdb in a while; so she may have given it up, and I don't know what sort of actor she turned out to be. But the age would be right, and not in such demand as to be unavailable.
Still, the romances on this show have become far too inbred; it's been so tight and convoluted they invariably retconned John's heritage last time, just so Brady and Theresa would no longer be related. And then there's the whole thing with Max and his thing for nieces... The main stumbling block of course is developing any good, new characters, but that's been one of Days' shortcomings with established or legacy characters - case in point, Lucas, Belle, Shawn, Philip, Joey, Ciara, Claire. In one of the other threads someone suggested Eli maybe should have been a doctor, but even then I feel like we've been there, done that with more than one random Horton offspring that has come and gone. And as I often say, so much of the potential of making a character a doctor or a cop, or anything else, is squandered by never focusing on the things that make those professions interesting; the emergencies and high stress moments, and exploring the human condition when people are most vulnerable.
