Right now, under Film Talk, there is FG and down at the bottom you have the Star Wars, Harry Potter individual boards. I'm down with creating individual movie boards but people keep saying it would get too cluttered but why not just make a tab or link (ex:Individual Movie Message Boards) under Film Talk? and have all the movie lists in there instead of putting it directly under Film Talk? That way you can find all if not most movie sub threads

I think having individual boards for film properties like Star Wars and Harry Potter is fine, but I think we should limit it to that sort of thing. Give big franchises their own boards where fans can discuss everything pertaining to it. I agree that giving each and every film its own individual board would clutter things too much and would eat up the amount of free space this has.

Individual movie boards were great on IMDb, but they would be a ridiculous disaster anywhere else.
The advantage of IMDb was having everything relating to the film right there at your fingertips, on the one page - including the message board. And after 20 February, the IMDb film pages will still have everything, except the message board, which in the scheme of thing is a small exception.
Taking one item from the IMDb compendium (like the film-specific message board, or the full cast and crew listing, or the trivia) and transplanting it to a completely different site is ridiculous.
