Yes, Carrie-Anne Moss did indeed look great in that costume and she kicked serious arse as Trinity (though was done a major disservice in the third film). The first film, to me, is the only truly 'great' one of the franchise. I rewatched the two sequels (Reloaded and Revolutions) on TV a year or two ago, I think, just to check whether they were as average as I remembered...and I'm afraid to confirm that, imho, they are still very disappointing films. They replayed them on TV here yet again when I most recently rewatched the first one (for the umpteenth time), but I didn't bother rewatching those two again. I got the fourth film on Blu-ray, hoping it'd be an improvement over the last two, but sadly there was little I enjoyed about it. Still, the first one holds up incredibly well, so don't be afraid to revisit it. Personally, I'd just stop there. As far as I'm concerned, it's the only one of any worth and I feel more satisfied pretending the ones that came after it don't exist.I guess one could say something very similar to how you feel and describe the fall from the original, down to, well, the others in a film franchise, which never quite managed to live up to the first one. RoboCop and Predator comes to mind, when having great movies, which sadly got followed up by far too many disappointing sequels or reboots/remakes.
