When I was a kid...you could watch the film and then stay in your seat and watch it again after, for no extra charge And often there was the main film AND a 2nd 'b' film with it.. For example Enter the Dragon was with Summer of '42.
When I was a older i was often going out with a girl who worked at our local cinemas [an Irish manageress once] , so never had to pay. Got a bit of a shock once after many years...when i strolled down after work...knew no-one working there...and had to fork out !!! Couldn't believe the price!!! It was like about seven times more than I remembered.
Actually as well when i was a teenager....you got a clip 'round the ear from a burly usherette if you gabbed during a movie. Bring that back i say.
Films i saw many times in the cinema:
Terminator 2 Aliens Jurassic park Rocky 3 Star Wars Robocop Avengers Assemble Jaws Death Wish 2 The Untouchables Enter The Dragon Way 0f The Dragon What's Up Doc Carrie

I saw "Last Action Hero" twice, but I was the target age for that movie and I had just got the dollar signs in my eyes as I was starting to mow lawns for extra cash.
Other than that, I saw "Gravity" 3 times in IMAX. Not the best movie in the world, but a true spectacle in the theatre.

M:I - Fallout The Avengers Avengers: Infinity War Spider-Man Homecoming Avengers: Endgame Dunkirk 10 Cloverfield Lane A Quiet Place Solo: A Star Wars Story Incredibles 2 Creed II Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom
Most of these are very recent, which is no coincidence. I’ve only just now been considered “the movie guy” among most of my newer friends and I end up getting split up in these different groups who want to see it and I end up rewatching movies that (in some cases) I have no interest in.
