I'll start:
1. The Phantom Menace 2. The Empire Strikes Back 3. Revenge of the Sith 4. Attack of the Clones 5. A New Hope 6. Return of the Jedi
I honestly do not remember how the music went in any of the new movies because the scores were that forgettable to me.

1. The Empire Strikes Back 2. Revenge of the Sith 3. A New Hope 4. Attack of the Clones 5. The Phantom Menace 6. Return of the Jedi 7. The Last Jedi 8. Rogue One 9. The Force Awakens
I think numbers 1-6 are all masterful works of art. Ranking those first six was a killer. I like the music in the three new movies (they are far from bad), but they're not very memorable or unique.

Return of the Jedi I honestly do not remember how the music went in any of the new movies because the scores were that forgettable to me. The Phantom Menace CANNOT be the top. It is too derivative of the previous soundtracks. Even Anakins theme had a bit of Vaders theme (Imperial March) in it. And Duel of Fates (though I love it) has a bit of the Emperors thrown room from ROTJ. Of them all the most robust and original is ANH by far. I even have a disc set that has twice as many discs of music that Williams made for the movie. Then come ESB as it has kick ass follow up music (again Imperial March), and then all the other movies to varying degrees. So lets say that TPM comes in third(?)

1. A New Hope - Diverse, iconic, and memorable. Whatever the tone, all hit the mark. Quantity as well as quality. - ( The Force Theme, The Cantina Band, Tie Fighter Attack, The Throne Room) 2. Revenge of the Sith - Most Operatic of all the films. ( Order 66, Anakin's Dark Deeds, Battle of the Heroes) 3. The Empire Strikes Back - Excellent dark and/or mystical tones, but lacks any great exciting tracks. ( The Imperial March, Yoda's Theme, The Asteroid Field) 4. The Phantom Menace - Great exciting music, but the quite tracks are a bit lacking, at least by Star Wars standards. ( Duel of Fates, The Flag Parade) 5. Return of the Jedi - Great Music but doesn't stand out like the other do. ( Battle of Endor, Victory Celebration(For the record I like to Special Edition music better)) 6. Attack of the Clones - Some fantastic tracks, but only a few. ( Across the Stars, The Chase Through Coruscant) 7. The Force Awakens - Enjoyable but not very distinct. ( Rey's Theme, Scherzo for X-Wings) 8. The Last Jedi - Similar to Awakens. Had good music but nothing really stands out. ( Canto Bright, The Battle of Crait) 9. Rogue One - Not bad by a long shot. But still feels Star Wars-ish. ( Hope)
