...and was taken aback! Really, interspecies relations, in the first episode?! Obviously I am in for a bumpy ride with this show!
The second episode was probably more interesting, but also deeply DEPRESSING.
Are the US shows as good, better or worse?

Honestly most episodes are deeply depressing... But that’s a good thing.

Him hooking up with Netflix got him more money and greater access to stars (actors and directors) which does make them better overall. That said, I loved season 1 and there are only a few as truly depressing as National Anthem even though most of the don't have happy endings.

I kinda knew that's what I was getting into, so no worries about the depressingness of it all. Just appreciate having a good quality, original show, that you can never predict, or so it seems.

It gets more and more depressing. The episode 'White Christmas' shook me up a lot and the fates of some of the characters are unimaginably horrific.

Does that make me twisted? Nah, we all watch 'Black Mirror' for the twisted content. What episode are you on?

It’s a fantastic series. The latter episodes are as good imo. San Junipiero is one of the best.

You should watch USS Callister. I really wanna see that one, but for some strange reason I've just been watching them in order. I don't think that matters, does it? I have noticed a few running themes from episode to episode.
