I have not, except by books, and I would love to see Mexico City, with all of the history, and Maya and Azteca ruins. I will have a look at Guanajuato... it will probably end up on my 'bucket' list, along with Rivera/Kahlo sites. Edit: And I would love to be there during Dia de los Muertos, making believe that loved ones passed on are still there to party.

I suggested it to my daughter, but she wants to see paddington, as it turns out we took her bouncy castle to a friends place, but I really want to take her to this.

Why are you allowed to say things like this on the board?

Why are you allowed to say things like this on the board? because i'm still the vice president of humor here silly. and i've been in an almost sixteen year relationship with rico-the love of my life-who happens to be full-blown chicanita. that's why. chicanita is slang for mexican male whore.

I have only seen 2/3 of it as my five year old grandson was terrified of the skeletons and insisted on leaving.
I was actually not that impressed, irrespective of having to decide whether to leave when his 8 year old sister was sort of enjoying it and his insistence on leaving the cinema. I personally found the whole thing creepy and ugly.

No, that isn't plausible. You get a pass to make offensive ethnic cracks where others would not.

I personally found the whole thing creepy and ugly. it is creepy isn't it. creepy but a wonderfully romanticized fable of what happens when we die. i would say it's almost on the same level of creepy as the fable about purgatory. or valhalla. every culture has it's wishlist of an aherlife scenario. and i find this fascinating.

Is that so? I've been censored for using the word "faggot," but clearly that's a completely different scenario......what with all those poor homosexuals who were alleged to have been burned at the stake in the middle ages.

I've been a long ago (almost 20 years ago), but heard it's not as safe as it used to be.
