Many props and objects associated with movie and TV stars are now housed at the Smithsonian in Washington, DC. Examples include Fred Astaire's tap shoes, Charlie Chaplin's bowler hat and bamboo cane, Archie and Edith Bunker's chairs, and others. There is also a museum in Hollywood that contains the memorable costumes worn in classic movies.
Does anyone know the most recent items donated to the Smithsonian and/or Costume Institutes?

I was at the Smithsonian back in 2010. I saw the All In The Family chairs, but not the other ones you mentioned. Those must be new additions.
Here are some of the other props I remember seeing:
- The ruby red shoes from the Wizard of Oz - Kermit The Frog puppet - Fonzi's leather jacket - Minnie Pearl's hat
