First I make sure a show has had its second episode before I start to watch it. Then I give it no more than three for me to decide IF I'll keep watching it, or not.

Depends on how bad the first episode is.

I give a show 3 episodes to "kick in" for me. That moment may not come for the first episode, but 3 seems to historically be it for me.
However, if I am going to really like a show, it usually kicks in for me at the first episode. Feud: Bette & Joan, and Breaking Bad being 2 examples.

It really depends, but probably 3 or 4. Or there could be an especially horrible line of dialogue or something and I won't get through episode 1. I'm much more lenient when there's a performer/writer/creator associated with it that I like.

It took 6 or 8 to hook me on The West Wing & Friday Night Lights.
I gave up on Breaking Bad after 5, and The Wire after 2.
Battlestar Galactica & Mad Men both had me from their pilots.

Typically 1 or 2. If I like the premise or the cast, 5 or 6. Most recent casualty was KNIGHTFALL.

2-3. If I can't get into it after that, I'm not going to able to. I tried to watch L.A. to Vegas and I just dropped it after the second episode.

Unless it is just so awful that I'm cringing my way through it, I tend to go 3-4 episodes. I've only ever seen 2 shows where the pilot really grabbed me. Usually, there is just a character or an idea in the pilot, that I get attached to and figure I can see it expanded upon in eps 2-4.

I try to give everything a season, unless it's truly bad. I only managed an episode or two of Riverdale and Training Day.

2 or 3. I dropped the 'Charlie's Angels' (2011) TV reboot with Rachel Taylor, Minka Kelly and Annie Ilonzeh after 3 episodes 'cause it was garbage and nothing like the original TV series or the movies with Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Lui which I liked and the network dropped it a few episodes later.

Usually 3. Depends on what made me start watching to begin with. If it was the actors, or it was a spinoff of a show I loved-probably more episodes.

Obviously it depends. If a show is shit you pretty much know it in 5 minutes. There is so much content out there I rarely have time for anything less than great.

Depends on how much of it there is to like. If I don’t find anything appealing then one episode and I’m done. But if I think there’s potential I’ll give it a few more episodes...maybe a whole season if it’s a long running show already and popular.

It would depend on how much I'm hating it . . . well, or just to what extent I can tell that it's not for me.
I might ditch a show before seeing a complete episode. Or I might give it three episodes before deciding whether to ditch it.
At that, the combo of it being pretty easy for me to peg shows that I'll like and me being easy to please means that I've almost never ditched a show. What often happens instead, to my frustration, is that a network gives up on a show prematurely.
The last one that I was thinking about ditching was "Damien". I wasn't sure if I liked it or not for a few episodes. But I stuck with it, wound up liking it more and more as it went on . . . then I got annoyed when A&E dumped it after just one season.
At this, I went many years without watching very many TV shows. But starting in the 90s, TV started and kept getting better and better overall in my opinion (with the exception of reality TV), and I'd say that we've been in a golden era, so it's pretty easy to find good shows . . . that plus having a DVR changed my viewing habits a lot. On the whole, I've been enjoying TV shows even more than movies lately.
