I have to give an inescapable C until we find out what other races there are in our class to compare us to. We could be one of the worst out there, or we could be one of the few who have made it as long as we have without destroying the environment we were created in and still survived. We are graded on a curve where we are the only one getting a grade until someone else shows up.

Dogs, cats, horses, elephants, whales, dolphins, octopuses, pigeons, owls, parrots, gila monsters. Bees, ants, beetles. Trees, mushrooms, algae. Yeasts. Molds. Bacteria. Bonobos. Lots other primates. Neanderthals. Denisovans. Take your pick.

D-
It makes me very sad sometimes to be a part of race that is capable of so much hate and evil. But there are good people out there, like me. They're just hard to find I guess. Especially when so many bad people are good at making themselves look like good guys.

We don't know that. We can tell what other people think because they can use language we can understand, and because we are able to see the world to a large extent in the same way they do. Other creatures may also be intelligent. We just have no way to know.

...considering that humans have managed to kill over 100 million of its own species in the last 100 years, it is an abject failure...

C+. There are some really good people if you're looking in the right place, but alas, the ones that make the human race look bad get all the press.

C. Its not very good. Look at how we treat each other. And we're hypocrites. There's not one person who would answer against "peace on Earth" if you asked, but yet no one actually does it. In fact its quite the reverse.
If robots or aliens were to come kill us but they gave us a lawyer to defend ourselves first he couldn't do it! The case is overwhelmingly against us based just on how we treat each other and the environment around us. Its awful. We have to cling to flimsy things like love and hope, because the reality is shit.
On the other hand I love life, so fuck the robots and the aliens!

I feel sorry for those who gave humanity a 'F' as they must think REALLY low of humanity as a whole and then it's also not the opposite of that either where everything is just great unless your a rich person who's living in a bubble etc. sure, some areas of the planet are quite bad and have been for a long time etc but in more civilized societies things are generally not THAT bad as I would have to think in the more civilized areas it's at least average-ish, give or take some, for many, if not most, people. p.s. I did not vote in the poll. but if I did I would likely vote for somewhere around the middle range, give or take. like it probably depends on what parts of humanity your judging as more civilized parts of society would generally be more good than bad but in some uncivilized areas of the world it's probably more bad than good. lenlenlen1It's because we have a fallen human nature after the fall of Adam/Eve. basically to sum it up... humans became selfish after that point and the more selfish humanity is the worse things tend to get overall and the less selfish people are the better things tend to get for humanity and there is probably no shortage of shady people in positions of power who are more concerned with their $$$/power than actually doing stuff that benefits society which kinda keeps things more on a downward spiral. but breaking that general selfish cycle for humanity as a whole basically ain't going to happen as it's sort of our default programming on some level. sure, I realize there are some really kind/giving people out there and then there are some really selfish/evil people out there but i would imagine the bulk of us are somewhere in the middle as we all (well maybe not all, but many ) generally have our ups and downs. plus, ill bet there are many people out there who don't see themselves as greedy/selfish, or generally bad people, even though they are. so if they don't even acknowledge it, then naturally they won't be able to attempt to remedy it much at all. like I can recognize I am selfish on some level at the least because I think a lot of us seem fine but once you screw with our routines we can get upset fairly quickly once things go outside of your general comfort zone etc etc. hell, just looking at my immediate family, in all honesty, I would rank like this from most generous to least generous... 1)mom 2)sister 3)myself 4)dad. I would have to say my mom is more generous than selfish where as my dad he's more selfish than generous and then my sister and I are basically in between the two, but I would say overall she's closer to my mom than I am but I guess since she's got kids she can't be too selfish at that point otherwise the kids could pay a price for it. so i think once she had a kid (she's got two, one in 2012 and the other in 2014) her general self had to take a backseat on some level for the kids sake because if one is too selfish in a situation like that, things could get bad for the kids quickly. I would say she's a good mom overall. p.s. I also see a correlation between society here in the USA (and other areas of the world) drifting away from God and things getting worse. koskiewiczI pretty much blame that on a small amount of evil people who happen to get into a powerful position like Hitler/Stalin etc. I would imagine a high percentage of humans are no where near THAT evil. sure, on a individual level there are plenty who are basically evil humans but when looking at it in terms of a percentage I would imagine a easy majority are no where near evil level where they would be a threat to your life even though I realize that there are probably many humans who don't care all that much about other humans etc. ArchelausAgreed. when it comes to the press there is no shortage of negativity for sure. @ohheybro Those people got a big surprise(and it won't be a good one) when they check out of this life into the next.
