One of those films I've been wanting to see for awhile but just never got around to it. I picked up a copy from a thrift store. Obviously not going to be as good as the first but I've heard it is not too bad. I'm kind of looking forward to it.

I came across a video essay the other day entitled 'Why Exorcist III is the greatest psychological thriller of all time'. I haven't seen it myself but I've a lot of great things about it.

I remember not liking the film that much, but the book was great, especially the first paragraph. Blatty was inconsistent as a writer, and didn't always match the quality of a few great passages here and there.

Brad Dourif has a couple of scary moments, and it does have one great jump scare.
I dont want to spoil it but it's funny because there is a red herring jump scare and I thought "that's it? That's the big jump scare everyone talks about?"
Then comes the REAL jump scare. It is a good one.
