I've always felt that Scarjo was the wrong actress for the Black Widow character, and I can't help but wonder who'd have been a better fit. Yes yes, I know she's already got the role and yes I'm happy she's getting a movie and yes I know I'm beating a dead horse but... indulge me for a bit here: Who would you pick for Black Widow if you were allowed to recast her?
Personally, I would have loved Antje Traue for the role.

While I like Scarlett in the role, part of me is very interested to see how Emily Blunt would've been as the character so she'd get my vote if Scarlett stepped down.

Personally, I would have loved Antje Traue for the role. While I didn't always love the idea of Scarlet as the Black Widow, over the years, she's managed to take ownership of the role in a way that makes it difficult to envision anyone else playing the part. I'm in favor of her continuing in the role. |
