Ramsay Snow/Bolton...there is nothing redeemable about his character at all. He’s just so darn charismatic.
Tywin Lannister...I don’t know if you should hate Tywin...seems like you should...but he’s so awesome and Charles Dance just feels so powerful in the role that it’s hard not to admire him.
Merle Dixon...probably just due to Michael Rooker but I always liked Merle even in season 1.
Shane Walsh...Shane was right about most everything, imo. His one hang up that annoyed me was Lori.

Martin Freeman's character from Fargo season 1. I mean the dude was terrible; he murdered his wife amongst many other awful things. But I was rooting for him the entire time. Walt from Breaking Bad. I was rooting for him from start to finish. At a certain point I disliked Walt a lot. It’s hard for me to remember exactly when...but I remember wanting him to get some level of comeuppance. Jesse I hated in the beginning because he was annoying but by the end I actually liked him a lot. I always liked Mike Ehrmentraut.

Apparently I'm supposed to hate Theon because he betrayed the family that held him hostage since childhood. Though killing those two kids was obviously bad. Then again, nearly every character on the show has killed, attempted to kill, or is responsible for the killing of a kid. Anyway, I like Theon. I also liked Littlefinger and a part of me was rooting for him even though he was a definite scumbag. I always rooted for Tom the Cat and the Coyote as a kid just because they always lost. The cast of Seinfeld are pretty much sociopaths, but they're also funny and their situations often relatable. I always rooted for Tom the Cat too! When I adopted a stray cat, I called 'him' Tom. Only 'he' turned out to be a 'she'. I still kept the name.

Cersei, Jaime, and Tywin Lannister all have some admirable qualities. Plus it helps that the show has some characters who are far worse.

The cast of Seinfeld are pretty much sociopaths, but they're also funny and their situations often relatable. Theon suffered enough and finally redeemed himself by saving Sansa. Littlefinger is evil, using women as currency, but so entertaining. His death was anticlimactic, it's almost like they are just in get-rid-of-characters-before-the-show-ends mode now. You've nailed it about the characters of Seinfeld. They may not commit major felonies, but they are constantly trying to get away with lesser crimes and whining when they fail.
