......" DAMN, things are REALLY getting expensive......" SAVE FERRISI'm a nerd and a man child. So of course I collect action figures. In the last decade they have gone from costing in the 10 - 12 dollars range to costing 20 - 22 dollars range. Just in the last decade. Not only is the price going up, but also the rate at which the prices are going up.

I'm not willing to expend the energy chasing them down, nor do I have the space for them, plus I wouldn't know what to do with them (open them/leave them unopened?). They were my favourite kind of toy as a child. I loved G.I. Joe, He-Man, WWF wrestling figures, M.A.S.K., Star Wars, etc. I always knew when I got one wrapped as a present at Christmas or for a birthday because you could tell by the shape and that excited me. I'd hold it up to the light so I could try and see through the paper and identify which character I got!

I no longer collect in the quantity I used to. I now get one once in a blue moon. Whereas there was a time I might get the whole line of new Star Wars action figures, I now only get one or two. In total I might only get 7 action figures a year.
Now comics is a still a full on concern/problem/issue/for-of-insanity. LOL

I used to collect comics but gave up. I still have my old ones from 25-30 years ago. But I guess I outgrew them, plus it was too much upkeep trying to keep tabs on the latest issues - plus, again, I've no room for them.

......" DAMN, things are REALLY getting expensive......" SAVE FERRISI bought a new Ram pick up truck in 2012. Coming back from shopping we saw a Dodge dealership and decided to see what kind of trade-in I could get for mine. Saw a great looking Dodge Rebel. I thought I might just get that. Until I saw the price.
