This has not lasted long at my local cinema. I did get to see it and found it intriguing and well made... although the ending was a disappointment, in my opinion. What do others think? 🤔

it was such a big WTF. It kept me interested, sure, but I ended up laughing more often than the director for sure would have wanted me to...

Kind of like Invasion of the Body Snatchers meets Masque of Red Death. Just a typical "Don't Drink the Water" kind of story. Empty.

I liked it better than my friends did but it was a disappointment. I'll give it enormous credit for being this weird and sometimes gross little genre movie that actually got serious studio support.

Although the film barely managed to hold my attention, it did nothing for me. A Cure for Wellness seemed oriented toward teenagers, and I did not find it scary in the least. Something supposedly dark instead struck me as, well, adolescent, and the central gimmick involving the girl became clear to me long before the actual revelation.
