No Australian Open thread? Didn't Brohma_Bull used to makes these? Can't recall if he ever jumped ship over here. Anywho - Nadal and Fed are #1 and #2 respectively - looks like Joker's back at #14 (rather low ranking, eh - is it due to injury and time off?) Women's side - Halep, Wozniacki are #1 and #2 respectively - Sharapova - unranked. Looks like it's in the 3rd Round already. Any thoughts? Sad to read this person won't even be playing mixed doubles anymore and is now 'retired':

The womens draw is lots of fun. They say 15 year old Marta Kostyuk is the youngest player since Martina Hingis 20 years ago to get to round 3. Christina Wozniaki had an awesome match. A match point by Fett against her at 5-1 in Set 3, and Wozniaki stepped up to win 6 straight games. Elina Svitolina is a hot young thing. My prediction: the awesome in-form Angelique Kerber is all that stands in Elinas path to the win. Pink and green are this years colours. Some women are wearing bizarre pink pyjamas. Eugenie Bouchard has a flourescent pink dress with flourescent yellow shoes.

I see that there is an American player whose name is Tennys Sandgren. He beat Stan Wawrinka to reach the third round. Wouldn't it be something if Tennys were to become a Tennis champion?

#17 Kyrgios vs. #15 Tsonga tomorrow
I get Kyrgios is highly unlikable and easy to hate on - but IMO it's what tennis is missing (just like boxing) - the old school personalities - love em or hate em.

Halep barely survived a 15-13 3rd set with a hobbling Davis.
Sharapova put out easily by Kerber in an hour.
Del Potro out.
Djoker through, Roger winning.

Glad Sharapova is out. Good riddance to that shrieking abomination!

They say Cheung played like a young Djoko. Feel kind of bad for not following any of the Oz Open this year. Usually I'm all over it, but ODI series and the BBL have drawn me away from it this year.

That is interesting! I like it when players come out of countries that don't already have a strong tradition in the sport. I hope this South Korean guy goes far.

"When I was young I just tried to copy Novak (Djokovic) because he was my idol." - Hyeon Chung 🌟
"Amazing. Amazing performance. He was a better player on the court tonight. He deserved to win, no question about it. Whenever he was in trouble, he came up with some unbelievable shots. Just from the back of the court, he was like a wall."
- Djokovic on Chung
"That was an incredible performance #Chung! Keep up great work. You’ve got this! 👏" - Djokovic to Chung

Celic is infuriating. Keeps doing the stiff-legged shot into the net. Nadal will take this.

Great win for Karl Edmund. Maybe losing Andy Murray to tennis won't be that painful now.

The yank goes out, losing to the Korean. Good to see the fairytale run continue, though it is a shame the yank got rolled. One benefit is we don't have to experience the more sanctimonious members of the media hijacking another press conference.

In the women's draw Kerber slaughtered Madison keys and Halep beat Lickyurlip or whatever her name is.
Federer v Berdych tonight.
