Sooooo... This has to do with stranger things. What do you think? I'm not saying I do or don't have a problem with it. However it does bring to mind an actors preference on who they are attracted to or not. Especially if they are younger, which in this case they are. Are the young actors really old enough to consent to this sort of thing? Omg it's so unethical for someone like me to even bring this up. Well, I did so deal wit itok.

Where's the or "What planet am I on" option? My point has been made, the poll speaks for itself. There R more 'not sure' than 'no' votes. There's doubt, that's for sure. lol. Sorry it didn't go the way you hoped/thought it would.

Only a racist idiot would vote anything other than "Yes".

I didn't have a hope for the poll to go a particular way. I had a hope that you'd explain what the fnck you're on about.

Pretty sure those who voted “not sure” meant “not sure what the fuck this stupid thread is”.

I didn't have a hope for the poll to go a particular way. I had a hope that you'd explain what the fnck you're on about. I was just pointing out that the creators of the show possibly have done more harm than good: In some of the ways that they wrote the show. And the reason why I think I made my point pretty decently is that there are a lot of people that are not sure about it, so they voted 'not sure'. The fact that like half the votes went to not sure, makes my entire point. And the fact that after I pointed it out in my previous reply: more people started voting yes just to counteract that my point was extremely well made: That proves what I was trying to say also.
And the person that said that only a racist would vote anything other than 'yes'. Is actually wrong. It doesn't make someone racist to say they're not sure about something, it just means they will have to think about it. It just means that they are actually willing to think about it, so therefore , that's a good thing.

Well, first, I don't even have any idea what you're talking about re interracial relationships. I'm guessing maybe something that's supposed to be coming in the next season? I try to avoid reading about stuff I'm going to watch before I watch it. I don't want any spoiler info at all. Next, I don't know what the heck you'd have in mind re what actors are like, what their preferences are, etc. in real life. The whole gig of being an actor is that you're playing something you're not in real life. (Otherwise you're not really acting, you're just being yourself.) So it makes little sense why you'd not realize this.

Does the OP realize that the controversy came from the showrunners making the two kids kiss at the end when they didn't want to?

Ah, I'd already forgotten about Lucas and Max--I guess that's what he's talking about? I never really thought of them as having a "relationship" per se. They seemed more at the stage of "liking each other." Had no idea there was any controversy over any of that, but I shouldn't be surprised. It's tiring that there would be controversy about it, though.

It's a good thing that instead of a mixed race it wasn't two boys , then I'd be like: Most people be like , Would 'that' seem ethical, to most audiences? Younger, straight actors, forced to kiss same sex? Ewww. I'm not actually asking, cuz it's a rhetorical question. omg it's sooo oo wrong that I said that. Not.

The only thing I'd consider unethical is requiring actors to do something illegal, where they could be legally culpable for it.

What if they had a gay relationship but the child actor/ 15 yo actor agreed to it cuz he felt pressured into it, cuz of course he wanted to be on the show. So he felt like he had to, and then felt uncomftorble about it, which would be normal.Technically he could consent to doing that, but considering he's under age he can't really consent to it. In that hypothetical situation, wouldn't the people that make the show be unethical? File that one under the duh category. Omg i'm sooooo homophobic, not. It's sooo unethical for me to have that opinion. Becauae technically it's legal to allow 13 year old straight actors to kiss, so technically it's also legal to have same sex actors kiss also, but is it ethical even if they agree to it? Because technically they would feel like they have to do it cuz they want that role, but they would feel uncomftorble about it, cuz it's also wrong. If it's somebody they are not attracted to , and this person is a kid, it's enethical imo for the show writers to even have that in the show, if they are dealing with kids, which in this hypothectical situation they are. But they are not old enough to consent to it. EVen though they might think that they are.
