This is the thread for pictures of Holden cars. Let's start with:

The Holden EK was an Australian-made car of the early 1960s, but with rather 1950s-style styling. Very popular nevertheless. Holden is part of General Motors, and I believe their 1950s/early 1960s models were based on American Chevrolet designs.

Cute car, almost has a 1950's Packard era look to the grill.

I love the simplicity of the cars of the era. If something breaks, you can pull it off and typically repair it yourself.

From the mid-1960s, the Holden HD, which is unfairly remembered as a "lemon". In fact, it initially sold very well, and was a well-made, dependable car. A lot of people don't like the styling, but I think it looks fine...

From the 1960s, the Holden EJ. I read it was based on a Vauxhall design...but presumably better-made than the Vauxhall (1960s Holden cars were well-made, designed to survive harsh Australian conditions, even though most of them never drove beyond the quiet American-style suburbs of the period).
