Just read about this. Mixed feelings. I think John Ottoman has done wonders with his scoring for Xmen films- even for Apocalypse that opening ritual scene is made so much better by the score.
Zimmer is great but sometimes his music is so bombastic it drowns out the dialogue and overshadows the on screen visuals - namely in Dark Knight Rises and Interstellar. I hope he can get the balance right. Cant wait for a first teaser trailer.

It was mostly samples from other soundtracks. Some of which had nothing to do with DC. You'll hear a lot of old X-men stuff. Probably some stuff from Pryde of the X-men. |

He's a brilliant composer no doubt but, I find his work to be incredibly fatiguing even after short intervals of listening.
