My favorite is Ginny, from Part 2. She was smart, likeable and resourceful. Also, Amy Steel gave a good performance.
My least favorite is Chris, from Part 3. Snooty, boring and she has no business being with that super hot Rick! Plus, Dana Kimmel is just, for me, not that likeable. And in a horror movie, she seemed out of place. I liked the Vera Sanchez character much better.

I pretty much agree with everything you said, including about Vera. I liked Shelly more than Rick as well, for what it's worth.
Though as much as I dislike Chris and Dana Kimmel's performance, I'm wondering if I would call her the actual worst. Pam from Part 5 was pretty lame - she couldn't even save herself from some mud (not to mention she got out-screamed by Reggie the Reckless). Then I know this is a controversial choice, but I never liked Tina, aka the wannabe of the character in your avatar.

I agree. Ginny Field from Part 2 is the best for being the one to manipulate Jason in such a cool way. Though I should also give credit to Tina for her psychic powers, who was also a good match for Jason, and Alice in the original since she was the first final girl of this series and chopped off his mother's head.
I wouldn't say Chris is the worst final girl. She had her motives and also fought back. For me it would probably be Jessica Kimble from Jason Goes to Hell for my least favourite. Most forgettable by far and she was overshadowed by Steven, who was a more fleshed out character than her IMO. Yeah she was the niece of Jason and was the one to send him to hell, but that's it. I hated it when she would completely ditch Steve and drove away.

I just watched Part 6 for the first time in 20 years last night. I had neglected seeing it for some reason all these years, and I'm kind of glad I watched it. There was some (dumb) humor in it that actually kind of worked. Part V was okay to me. It was fun. The goofy kid at the beginning who went around offering everybody a bite of his Baby Ruth candy bar made me laugh. The hottest guy in that installment was the one who got the leather strap around his eyeballs while standing against the tree. Not that it could happen in real life unless the tree was only four feet tall. The girl with the large breasts who got her eyes gouged out with the garden shears - that was a good death. The Tommy in the Part V didn't do a lot for me, so I guess I'll go with VI. I did like Reggie! He was fun! I remember the actor from the tv show, Different Strokes. He played "Dudley", Arnold's best friend! The most handsome and appealing guy, by a long shot, was, I thought, the guy who played Tina's friend in Part VII. Yee-Gods he was attractive. And openly gay in real life. His boyfriend is super lucky. What did you think of him, Toasted Cheese Tuna Melt?

But, I have to admit, he wasn't all that interesting. In fact, he was quite boring. Also, I know he was the token annoying character who everybody is supposed to want to see die, but, I agree with you, I liked Shelly, too! He was just funny. I liked that Vera was so nice to him. I was sad when she died. I also liked Andy. He was the guy who did the head stand and took it to the balls.

Kimmel was a bit annoying, but I didn't mind her. Do I detect a sense of jealousy, being with her super hot boyfriend. Vera was nice and I was sad when she copped it. I was upset when the pretty nurse in Halloween II-81', copped a scalpel in the back. I didn't want her to die.
When I recently watched FT13th Part 5—which is my favorite—I was noticing how bitchy Pam seemed. She always looked annoyed, but this would have been the actress. I wish they had put the Lana character in her role instead. She had more spunk...."I'm going to party!"

Me, too! She had such a sweet face! That was just wrong of Michael to kill her. I don't think I remember Part V being your favorite, Toasted Cheese. Somehow I always thought Part IV was your favorite.

I hated it when she would completely ditch Steve and drove away. I think Part IX, JGTH is the worst one from the entire series (though I have yet to see the outer space installment, which looks thoroughly dumb) Part IX was mean-spirited. I don't know what it was. It lacked the fun of all the others. I can't even remember the heroine. All I remember was that Erin Gray from "Silver Spoons" (terrible 80s program) played the waitress.

Neither are good, but it's probably even worse than JGTH in my opinion. At least JGTH tried something different and had gory kills (then again the liquid nitrogen kill in X was quite remarkable). I consider it to be non-canon.
