Ummmmm....I'm pretty sure Wolverine has slaughtered dozens of people in his very long span in what he can remember of his past and lord knows how many from the places he cannot remember yet it's A-OK for him to part of the team and stay at the mansion. Magneto has killed many people, is the head of a mutant uprising group yet Charles is willing to forgive him and let him at the X-Mansion as long as they're seeing eye to eye on something or because he thinks there is still "good in him". Mystique's killed dozens but she's a welcomed addition to the team. Hell, Magik's brother Colossus wants Deadpool to be an X-Men despite how many people he's slaughtered and how dangerous his personality is. So what the hell makes these kids "soooo messed up" that they cannot be allowed to stay at the X-Mansion in Charles Xavier's hands? They're unstable, but they can be trained to control their abilities. Now of course its obvious that they are under the government's control and are being experimented on to study the mutant gene and most likely they've made sure the kids are not in the X-Men's reach and all, but Boone's reasoning why there are no other X-Men in this is just dumb.

Isnt it supposed to be a secret facility theyre being held in? Then no outside influence can help them and they really are alone in trying to escape to get the horror feel of it right. But no xmen like Colossus is a bit disappointing. Just don't know enough about this project to understand what particular vision theyre taking. Really would need a full trailer for that.

Yes, yes, and yes. Just pointing out that Boone's comment about them being too messed up be part of the X-Men is a real eye brow raiser. |

I feel bad to the number of fans who spent hours trying to visualize what these actors would look like as their characters - because they're not gonna have any costumes or save the world with the other X-Men in this or in sequels if they even get made. |
