Torn achilles.
Damn, there go the Pelicans' championship hopes.

Was only 11 seconds left in the game, up 4.
I thought the Cavs were going to try to get him. Not now.

Crushing blow. With this injury goes any chance for us to challenge for a title.

Who takes his place in the all-star game, I reckon?

Who takes his place in the all-star game, I reckon? Likely one pair or the other: Chris Paul George

It's a shame. I owned him in 2 of my 4 leagues. One, I just got to grab Gobert (only 1 league allows IL spots, so if someone is gone a month, you cant take the hit.) So while Gobert is no Cousins, itll manage. I could have had both, ugh!
Other league, fml. Brook Lopez for Boogie, WHAT A WINNER!
In all seriousness, Boogie was having an amazing year. Dude was a monster. Holiday, Boogie, and The Brow. What sucks is as someone else said, 11 seconds left I believe (Against my Rockets.) Championship hopes are gone, I hate seeing the elite-best of the best go down. He was growing so much this season....now we have to ask, will he ever be the same?

Booger Cousins?
Get out of town! Really?
Who does he play sport for with a moniker like that, Hillbilly Swamp Breeders Baseball Club?

Were there ever any championship hopes to begin with when you have the Warriors, Rockets, and come playoff time the Spurs with a healthy Leonard? At best they would have gotten the Wolves in round 1, which they still would have likely lost. The absolute best scenario would have been a 4 seed, beat the Wolves, lose to the Warriors in MAYBE 5
It's still a shame, but you can't lose championship hopes if they never realistically existed

We should just figure out who's the favorite, call it, and then move on to next season. According to you the Giants should never have had the chance to run through the playoffs as a wildcard team and then beat the undefeated Patriots in the Super Bowl. Douche!

Last NBA champ that was lower than a #3 seed, the 1994-95 Houston Rockets. And they could have been knocked out had the 1st round been 7 games.

What a week: Gets 44 points, 24 boards and 10 assists, then four days later - out for the year!

They had no chance of a championship, even with Boogie. This is the NBA, not the NFL. The best team usually wins. It is a seven game series.

I almost feel bad for Unibrow. He's the best big in the league by far and instead of getting him a decent PG like any sensible GM would do, they go out and get another big. And one who is nothing but trouble, nonetheless.

There's only one Booger and he is way cooler and smarter than Dumbass-cus Cousins.
