"You're falling back on that tired "Chinese people are racist!" defense?"
But that's the reality. Do you ever read, or watch the news, or were you ever in China before? I was. and i saw it with my very own eyes, how bad racism in China is, especially towards black people.

Again your fix bullshit doesn't work. My original posts are still excist. And the only one who's a lame debater is you. Because don't accept other peoples opionion. Of course your original posts exist, the "fixed" thing isn't about that. What it IS about is showing how thin skinned you are that you can't handle someone who disagrees with you, which begs the question of why you came to these boards to begin with. It isn't like you accept anyone else's opinion.

I remember one poster on the old forum who kept putting up this image of a Chinese guy doing Blackface. I thought it was more silly than anything else.

Just curious, but I am wanting to know what you guys think. Β Will Black Panther be bigger than Wonder Woman or Deadpool at the box office? Β Β BP is tracking HUGE right now. Β Lets look at the numbers. Wonder Woman: Domestic: $412 million Foreign: $409 million Total: $821 million Deadpool: Domestic: $363 million Foreign: $420 million Total: $783 million It's highly unlikely for Black Panther to beat Wonder Woman's domestic total of $412 million. That being said Wonder Woman's foreign totals were a little sluggish. Put another way:Wonder Woman was a cultural phenomenon in the US not so much elsewhere. Usually foreign revenue is more than domestic. Seen as a percentage of foreign vs total. For instance Civil War made 1.153 billion total and foreign market was 745 million so 64% of Civil War's earning came from foreign market. Justice League: 65% Ant-Man: 65% Spiderman hc: 62% BvS: 62% X-Men: Days of Future Past: 68% X-men Apocalypse:71% The Amazing Spider-Man: 65% Thor: 59% I could keep going, but usually foreign grosses are more than half of total gross. This didn't happen with Wonder Woman. It's was 49%. You could look at that as a glass half empty or half full. Either her foreign gross are extremely anemic or her domestic's were gang busters. So can BP beat Wonder Woman domestically? I'd say no unless it becomes a cultural phenomenon like WW. Now it could beat WW in foreign and total. That isn't out of the question. BP will have to do great everywhere but also in the Chinese Market if it's released there. It might not be released there, but MCU has gotten into China pretty easily before. So with the caveat of not beating WW domestically BP could still beat it World Wide. Now speaking of Chinese market Deadpool wasn't released there (and it's foreign percentage was still 53%) so that's an advantage if BP does. Deadpool also was a cultural phenomenon aided by a fucking brilliant marketing campaign, good movie, and a passion product of Ryan Reynolds. So Deadpool is in the same boat as WW for different reasons. If BP is released in China, and it does well there, then it's conceivable that BP could do better than DP World Wide but not domestically. All of this could be turned on it's head with a massive unforeseen flop. (highly dubious) or fucking massive hit getting a billion in World Wide gross. (also highly dubious) Is it a cop-out to predict it fits kind of in-between? I think it surpasses Deadpool for sure and maybe falls short of WW?

I say Deadpool $363 million domestic $420 million foriegn $783 million total Wonder Woman $412 million $409 million $821 million Black Panther $348 million domestic $459 million foriegn $807 million total. So I estimate that it will be between the two movies also. My estimates include China.if it doesn't open there. You could take 60 million right off the foreign market and world wide gross. If it doesn't open in China my estimates will change to this. $348 million domestic, Foreign $399 million for total of 747.

I donβt have as much interest personally in Black Panther as I did Deadpool for sure...and probably even Wonder Woman.
So Iβm inclined to say no based on my own preferences.

Looks like Black Panther will released in China on March 9th. (Hong Kong on Feb 15th) Is it still your Opinion that even with China, Wonder Woman will still beat Black Panther Foreign box office?

No chance to beat either one of those movies---and since Deadpool only cost $50 million to make, I'd love to know how much they spent on Black Panther but it hasn't been made public yet

I don't think you understand-- Black Panther will bomb in China, China is notoriously racist against blacks, one reason why TLJ had such a pitiful showing there, one critic's review: "a film that insults the intelligence and with not beautiful people"--Pretty sure this critic will say the same thing about Black Panther

Come on man. You're better than that, right?

Yes, because Black Panther will bomb in China, just like The Last Jedi did. It's funny that you stated this as fact and in a very authoritative way: "Other than Hong Kong, Black Panther isn't getting released in China so NO," Turns out you were just guessing. Now that we know it's opening in China. You put on that air of superiority again. Saying it will bomb. What number would have to beat not to bomb in your eyes. I would say anything below 55 million would be bombing.

It is an MCU movie so it will probably be very well done and get good reviews. Therefore, it will probably do very well, financially. If it is actually really good, I can see it really surprising people.

Don't get it, why Deadpool is part of the camparison. Movie had different audiences, different rating, and no chinal release. Don't makes any sense.
