I can't remember when I last bought a newspaper but bought one today just in case the article wasn't online. But it is, so I wasted 50p bah. Anyway I was correct when I suggested that Newport had done their homework on Spurs. And then some. 15 pages of it after spying on their 1-1 draw with Southampton last week. Some of it makes for interesting reading. For example, Deli Alli : sometimes selfish and doesn't work hard to get ball back. Erik Lamela : lacks passion or drive, does not like to tackle or be tackled, largely ineffective. Serge Aurier : commits himself too early in challenges, can be easily turned. He and Sanchez the weakness in Spurs defence. Michel Vorm : Didn't come for crosses, gets blocked in at set-plays. Press him quickly and don't give him time to build up play. Eric Dier : one-paced.
On Spurs as a unit : Free-kicks all taken quickly to nearest player They play at high tempo and press quickly They didn't defend wide free-kicks well
There's loads more here The Tottenham File
You wonder now how Spurs will set out its stall in the replay LOL.

You gave Murdoch fifty pence! Aye, sir, and what a load of bollix I got for it. Just had a glimpse through it. Front page headliner : Wish You Were Herr? "Brits beat Germans by booking sunbeds" Inside : Katie Price describes herself as "shrewd, like Del Boy" Aleshia Dixon is photographed wearing something green Gordon Ramsay uses clingfilm on his number plates to foil speed cameras in the US Ten grand's worth of paving slabs were nicked from a garden in Hampshire More than 20,000 have signed the petition to keep walk-on dolly birds in darts Meghan Markle will make a speech at her wedding The Co-Op will make biodegradable tea bags A fortune-telling taxi driver predicts your future for free Trump Pal Sex Shame
...fack that, I gave up at page 26.

Interesting reading. Never realised Dele Alli was 6' 1", though. He has the bearing and movement of a shorter player.
