I'd like to get a list going of things people accept to be true, that have worse evidence than the idea of a god.

You can't have less than zero evidence!

You can't have less than zero evidence! Let's be fair now -- there's plenty of evidence, it's just not credible evidence.

Good question. There are probably others, but the only one that comes to mind is that the universe is real (not a simulation or figment of my imagination).

within the orbs of eyes lies the power to inspire great works of art.
i cannot prove this. still it sounds way more romantic than blood dripping from off a wooden stick in the ground.

Eh, the universe we know being real requires fewer assumptions than it being a simulation or your imagination. Further, if it was a simulation or your imagination, it'd still be part of the universe. It's just that we (you) wouldn't know what the real universe was like beyond that.

I'm using "universe" in the small sense (the universe we know), not the larger sense (everything that exits). In that sense, a simulated universe would be part of some universe, but not ours.

What has worse evidence than a deity? The notion that a human speaks for this deity. Examples: Moses, Jesus, Muhammad.
Maybe these people really believed they were prophets or half-gods; and maybe they had subjective evidence for their beliefs. This does not mean anyone else has to believe them.
I don't believe in a deity, but I am not ruling out that one might exist. But if one did exist, I consider it unlikely that Moses or Jesus or Muhammad would have been its legitimate spokespersons.

Atheists being forced to convert by way of Nativity scenes. It's gotta be happening.

This is something a lot of theists don't seem to get. Even if all of their prophets were real people, from jesus to moses to noah, the stories about them are apt to be as real as Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter.
