I'd say Wonder Woman, I was pretty disappointed with the twist in TDKR.

Wonder Woman was a good movie but The Dark Knight Rises was a level above it. It's one of the best Superhero movies there is.

Better story? Check!
Better lead actor? Check!
Better villain? Check!
Better music? Check!
Better supporting cast? Check!
Wonder Woman is a good movie, but it's definitely not as good as TDKR.

While I liked WW quite a bit, its no contest . TDKR is just flat out better . Now, TDKR isn't without its faults (I had some issues with it) but overall its a satisfying ending to a great trilogy. Plus, Nolan's direction was better than Jenkins imo.

TDKR is actually my fav Nolan Batman movie and although I liked WW, TDKR is better imo. The final fight and conclusion is just more investing and gripping than the fight with Ares. You think its better than The Dark Knight?? I'm genuinely curious as to why |

Wonder Woman (7.5/10) as it brings new concepts and character development and a fresh approach to a juvenile, fanboy orientated genre. Tdk Rises is underrated though (6.5).

Definitely 'Wonder Woman.' It is far from being perfect and Aries was a poor choice of a villain in my opinion but it had far more in common with the source material than any of the Nolan films did.

But wonder woman had better action, better love story, better pacing, far less potholes and inconsistencies, and more character development for the main character. |

You think its better than The Dark Knight?? I'm genuinely curious as to why TDKR has better rewatch value for me. Its also more centric to Bruce Waynes story and not overshadowed by the villain. The Tali Al Ghul twist was great because I didnt see it coming. The last 20 minutes is a lot more exciting and edge of the seat stuff and classic Nolan where theres multiple things going on and hes cutting between the scenes. Theres more memorable scenes as well than TDK, from Banes speech, Bruce escaping pit, Bane vs Batman fights, opening airplane heist, Alfred leaving Bruce, final 5 minute montage. I know TDKR has a lot of hokey story telling like Robin knowing Batmans identity outta nowhere and stuff like that but I can oversee that mostly. Also I think TDK is a little too pretentious. |

Wonder Woman. People complain about the third act, but I've seldom seen a movie s*** the bed like the third act of TDKR.
