Interesting. I still wish they made an actual Hellboy 3 with Ron Perlman to finish the trilogy, but it is what it is.
I'm not sure I want a "dark and gritty" Hellboy as part of the character's appeal is his dry wisecracks and humor, but I hope the filmmakers can surprise us. Let's see what they come up with.
