I haven't seen it in years but what happened to Ryan Phillipe? I see that it's available on Netflix or Amazon Prime (Cant' remember which one). I guess I need to check it out again...

Del toros character is also cool and I love the dynamic between him and phillipe. He’s constantly testing Phillipe.

I added it to my Netflix queue, but it says "long wait". Considering how old the movie is, that means some asshole in Nebraska has the only copy and won't return it.  |

I haven't seen it in years but what happened to Ryan Phillipe? I see that it's available on Netflix or Amazon Prime (Cant' remember which one). I guess I need to check it out again... He's been battling depression for many years now and is on the USA series "Shooter". He also cant act and probably fell into depression when Hollywood caught on and the public stopped paying to see anything with him in it. |

I like this film and own it on dvd. I agree with a lot of you that the opening scene is funny as hell and there are a lot of other aspects in this film that are good too. A slick film for sure. 7.5/10

One of many, many movies that came out in the wake of “Pulp Fiction” that featured low to mid-level hoodlums bonding, saying strange things, and having semi-surreal violent adventures. Sorry, but I didn’t think The Way Of The Gun was any more successful at this than any of the other Pulp Fiction imitations.
BTW, Ryan Phillippe is very good in “The Lincoln Lawyer” and “Breach.”
