The Greatest Show on Earth.
Loved it then. Love it still (even if Charleton Heston is in it !)

I'd bet well over 75% of the films I like. Anyway, some of the more extreme examples: The Adventures of Pluto Nash The Appearing Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star Caddyshack II Car 54, Where Are You? The Cat in the Hat Catwoman Date Movie Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd Epic Movie Exorcist II: The Heretic Feardotcom Furry Vengeance Hold Your Breath The Hottie & the Nottie House of the Dead The Landlady Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector Left Behind The Love Guru Son of the Mask Viva Knievel! Which Left Behind? I thought the 2000 one wasn't that bad, but I hated the remake.

Dune Ishtar
It's embarrassing to admit I like either one.

I too vaguely remember that discussion, Larcen26, though I can’t recall where on here we had it. brownstones, I’m with you on The Village and Batman v Superman, but are you sure that Magic in the Moonlight is usually negatively rated? I’m not doubting you, I had just never heard that before. I really enjoyed it too.

"Msdemos Gets Laid", but I enjoy fantasy more than my friends.
Kidding aside, there are many that get spoken of negatively on Imdb that I find good, great, even classic, but "in the field", with normal people who aren't freaked out on the drugs that IMDB people do, there are none that I love that others hate. At least not hated by the sane cool people. Some that are hated by the "haters':
JUNGLE FIGHTERS 10/10 SHAKE HANDS WITH THE DEVIL 10/10 THE LOST CONTINENT 1968 10/10 THE BLACK CASTLE 10/10 THE INSPECTOR GENERAL 10/10 ROOM SERVICE 10/10 AT THE CIRCUS 10/10 12 TO THE MOON 10/10 UNKNOWN WORLD 10/10 THIS IS NOT A TEST 10/10
Those are some of the classics. Others are mistreated. I recently saw some of the classic Japanese Godzilla franchise films on Svengooli, and his group seemed to think these were lame movies. On the contrary, they were excellent. They showed the best of drama, "credible characters in incredible circumstances". The believable characters were much more inspiring than 93% of American and European science fiction movies.

Godfather 3 is often spoken of disparagingly, but it gets a solid 7.6 on IMDb. You remember that old site, doncha?
I've only seen parts of Bonfire of the Vanities and it looked worth seeing.

now come on, that was a genuinely GOOD movie. plus it "gave us" Wonder Woman. Or have any of you known about Gal Gadot BEFORE Knight & Day? Small part but memorable performance.

'American Psycho 2' by far. Definitely one of the sexiest roles Mila Kunis has played in my opinion and I liked the Rachael Newman character and found her amusing. Some people despised it 'cause it didn't properly connect on to the first movie but I think it should have been made into a separate movie. I also loved the soundtrack.

You're preaching to the choir. I thought it was very well made and pretty funny to boot. I really dont understand whats not to like about this piece though. Tom Cruise shows us (again, after Tropic Thunder) that he is on board with making fun of himself, and willingly comes across as a kooky character. Cameron Diaz is quite likable in the flick, and the best part, the movie doesn't take itself seriously and openly admits what it is and what it is not. I just dont get the hate or even dislike of this one. Its a light, fun, silly, action comedy. Good for both genders too as there is fine romance as well as thrilling action. Its just a lovely movie. Yeah, you know what? You are right, I SHOULD watch it again.
