Two adventurous firefighters along with a simple plan to get filthy rich, are about to get a whole lot more than what they first bargained for, specially when entering a rough and unfriendly gang populated area in search of a hidden treasure. But what they got themselves in turns out to be a desperate situation, as the place where the stash is located is about to become a violent war zone and where it is every man for himself.
A somewhat overlooked Walter Hill early 90s action-thriller starring Bill Paxton, William Sadler, Ice-T and Ice Cube.
I first caught this on late night cable back in 2006, and enjoyed the plot very much and while maybe not among the strongest of Hill's films, I still like to think of it as one of his better efforts of the 90s, not that much competition but still an enjoyable movie that I can watch every now and then.
