Pretty disappointing. Interesting concept and I liked the slow build to the actual "downsizing". They lost me when they got to Leisureland. I just didn't like the direction it went in, the humor didn't work and I found the female "lead" from the second half of the film annoying and bordering on caricature.

Hong Chou gave one of the best performances of the year. The rest was no good.

Liked it, developed plot against expectations and had one of the most hilarious romances ever.

i didn't think it was the best but i would like more stories from this universe. the shot when they were coming up on the original village of the guy using a shell as a horn was the best part for me. i'd rather see a film about 8000 years from now when the little people emerge again from their underground bunker.
