A great movie for horror fans. The deconstruction and reconstruction of horror tropes makes for a fun movie.

Sam Raimi is only good when it's THE QUICK AND THE DEAD. Fixed, and one reason we know Raimi didn't direct this masterpiece.
CABIN IN THE WOODS is a 10/10 classic, a breath of fresh air. It will have "haters" because of the way it shows horror fans for the raving lunatics they are.
There is a lot more than meets the eye to this film, and those with low IQs still misinterpret it, but the answer is there as to what it is saying. The ending is misleading to those who love horror. It's obvious to those of us who hate horror, because frankly, "Horror" is only for raving lunatics.

I watched it yesterday and it was good. I was dissapointed with the ending though. The guy with the marijuana addiction acted really good.

It was an interesting turn for the stoner guy to be one of the final two in the movie. But yeah this is a great fun horror flick with a unique concept and great homages to other horror films. |

Hemsworth was just wasted in this. The last 10 minutes wasn't that good but overall it was a good one time watch. "It follows" is on my next horror watchlist. Have you seen it? |

Little bit of sexuality goes well with these horror flicks. Its better to watch these movies than to watch mullholand drive, identity, stay etc where the movie tries to be so intellectual that it becomes hard to digest. |
