General Hospital Big Brother Gossip Girl One Tree Hill Pretty Little Liars One Tree Hill was of higher quality than most CW teeny-bopper dramas, at least the first few years. That shocking twist in the third season during the school shooting wowed me! My current guilty pleasures: Celebrity Big Brother Dynasty Riverdale Preacher GLOW

Dan Scott is honestly one of my favorite TV characters of all time. He was such a complicated character and always fun to watch. He'll never get the credit as a character he deserves because he was a supporting character on a teen drama. But I still think he ranks up there.

The show had the balls to try and make him likeable in later seasons, after THAT! Still not sure how to feel about it.

From seasons 1-4 they pretty much build him into one of the worst people imaginable. Then they decide to flip things and take him the other way. I thought the writers did a good job building his character in either direction. It all came together for a good ending.

I have no guilt about anything I watch on tv, I see no reason why my taste should be dictated to by critics.

I am often ashamed to admit that I sometimes enjoy House Hunters. (The anonymity of the Internet somewhat mitigates the shame. ) I think Spongebob Squarepants, which borrows a great deal from Laurel and Hardy and the Marx Brothers, is far more amusing and intelligent than many of the “adult” comedy programs on television nowadays. I do watch some of those atrocious Hallmark Christmas telemovies around the holidays… They kinda make you feel good if you’re in the right mood. I used to love Ghost Hunters, though I’m pretty much a ghost-skeptic. Good goofy fun until its last seasons, where the writing got worse and worse. I also greatly enjoyed an Internet parody of it, Ghost Ghirls, which I commented on somewhere around here. In the same vein, Ancient Aliens can be amusing if one’s in the right mood for crazy Giorgio Tsoukalos! Does I Dream of Jeannie count? The Munsters? Ehh… Kinda sorta. I make no apologies for the Adam West Batman, Gilligan’s Island, or The Animaniacs though. I think they’re genuinely good shows (well… so is Spongebob… GH used to be, too).
