I actually find both of them to be ridiculously entertaining. Now, part of that is because I can make fun of how bad they are, but they're still entertaining.
I think Superman IV is worse than B&R, though. It really is a mess.

Superman at least has sincerity behind it while B&R has contempt for the character and audience.

Me too. I rate them both 6/10 and I enjoy them for the cheesy fun they really are. Nowhere near being even close to a "worst" movie of all time list, or at least not mine.

I think the worst is Batman & Robin, or at least, my least favorite.
Superman IV (which has the worst villain ever), is not worst than Superman III (the silliest of all Superman movies), IMO.
Enjoy Superman III opening scene (what was that???)

I haven't actually seen either in awhile. I just realized (after looking up my rating on IMDb) that I was getting Superman IV mixed up with Superman III. Superman IV I only gave a 4/10. Superman III on the other hand I gave a 10. Batman & Robin I gave an 8 on my last viewing.

They're both pretty terrible, yet both have some pretty good moments that should belong in better movies.
Superman IV has the scene with Clark after he's lost the fight to Nuclear Man and is in terrible shape.
And Batman and Robin has the scene with a dying Alfred that is actually very moving.
