It could show how Adam Driver (Kylo Ren/Ben Solo) first met Andy Serkis (Supreme Leader Snoke) and how he was actually lured by him to the Darkside and then it could also show an entire Lightsaber Fight Scene between Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) and Andy Serkis (Supreme Leader Snoke) and we then find out that that is how and why Snoke looked the way that he looked in "THE FORCE AWAKENS" and "THE LAST JEDI".
What does everybody else here think ?

Well. I think this would not fit well with Luke's narration and feel like a retcon. Luke was literally buried under rubble by Kylo, and he would not have omitted such an crucial encounter with the main villain when confession his sins to Rey.

Yes, a flashback with some kind of exposition or backstory would make sense. The problem is it would've made sense in TLJ but didn't happen. As others have commented even a few minutes of exposition on Snoke would've been better than nothing. Based on what we got in the first 2 movies of this trilogy it doesn't instill confidence that it will happen in episode IX. They seem more concerned with shallow character development by advancing their behavior and actions forward in the story at a "healthy" pace. But actual character building - supportive history and developing motives & credibility - not very much of that at all. On top of that if Snoke is dead in every sense of the word then what would be the point? It might make sense to us but it would be very contradictory to their modus operandi so far.
