I'm talking about Olympic curling, with the ice and stones and brooms

See, I can't vote because curling killed my mother and raped my father. That option isn't there.
It's cool to watch. For a while. 30 minutes tops and I'm changing the channel. Some of the women have shapely heinies.

The Brier is on my Canadian Mt.Rushmore of sporting events along with the Grey Cup, World Jr's, & Stanley Cup. Provincial/territorial week of non stop made for tv dramatic action.
Mic'ing the entire thing for live on ice audio is the cherry on top. The PGA should take that cue & mic at least the caddies for more intrigue.
Having said that... I do not tune in at all for the Women's Scotties, nor any of the Grand Slam events up here. Watching individuals rather than provincial champions loses a lot of lustre for me. Besides, nothing's cooler than having both a team Ontario, & Northern Ontario to root for at the same event. I'll watch the Olympic curling because it's teams I've never seen before playing one another sometimes for the very first time.
So yeah... The Brier & Olympics curling yay. The rest, meh. Male-Female 2 person mixed curling though has been eye opening, having to sweep your own stones.

I love curling. It's a shame they won't televise more of it instead of all the boring bullshit figure skating.

Combines shuffleboard with a pit crew and puts it on ice.

Sitting upright for hours in a straightback chair kills my back.

I'll never forget the time former Blackburn and Scotland captain Colin Hendry switched not only sports but indeed sexes in order to captain Scotland - oops, apologies Great Britain - ladies to Curling Olympic glory:-

Being Canadian and all I think I'm suppose to like it, but I fucking hated it as a teenager and will never care for it. Why is that, you ask? Because that fucking Brier would suddenly be on every fucking night in March, replacing minor things like NHL hockey, leading up to things like the TradeDeadline day (which was later in the season and a bigger deal in the 90s), playoff races, etc.

As long as his penis still functions, you shouldn't worry about a slight bend.

Meh. Seems like it could be fun to play with your kids or something at a birthday party. Doesn't need to be an Olympic sport.
