I was always a big fan of the mercenary type films that took place in post colonial Africa like the Wild Geese. I've seen Dark of the Sun with Rod Taylor. The one I haven't seen or been able to find a US copy of is The Last Grenade with Stanley Baker. Dark of the Sun ( The Mercenaries in Australia) is great. Game for Vultures falls into this category but it's not good. The Dogs of War is quite good and it was on youtube a few years ago. Under Fire is set in central America and concentrates more on the journalists than mercenaries but is excellent.

Does anyone know of any good sites that recommend based on another movie? IMDB sometimes does this, but it usually just inserts other movies by the same director or lead actor.
