Its expected to make as much as 200m over the long holiday weekend. Given that February/March/April has no other guaranteed hits, it could gross well over Civil War. Possible reason why it might not. Critics overpraising the film , causing backlash once fans see it.

The timing of its release could either work for it like you pointed out or against it because those are generally down months in terms of theater attendance. |

Critics overpraising the film , causing backlash once fans see it. lmao don't be stupid--Civil War grossed $1.153 Billion, BP won't even come close to that--Forbes estimates run from a final worldwide tally of $585 million to $880 million, and that high end number is only if it does well in the Far East, which it won't--Civil War grossed $180 million in China while TLJ bombed with $40 million--Black Panther will be lucky even to make TLJ's miserable numbers there |
