When I was in Korea I watched a movie version of "Cinderella" on Korean TV and, wait for it, ALL THE ACTORS WERE KOREAN! YELLOWWASHING!!!!
BTW as the other poster mentioned this is from an American book series and the ethnicity of the character isn't even known until the second book which tells me it is not relevant to the character or the story.

And as @jakesully pointed out, the author of the books has no problem with it as he loves the film and I believe even said it was a improvement on the books. If the creator of the characters doesn’t have a problem, why should anyone else?
