Definitely not 38. Carolina had no business coming as close as they did to winning. Going for 2 at 21-16 could be called a tactical error in hindsight but made perfect sense at the time.
49. From the sense that had Lynch failed twice to punch it into the Endzone everyone would put the loss on him, whereas calling for a passing play put the blame on the coach.
51. Not really. His tactics got his team 28-3 ahead. Can be critical for not running the ball at 1st and 10 on the 21, and passing too much in general in the 4th quarter, but even then would not be talked about had their idiot of a QB not lost 10 yards on the sack. A bit of polish from.his players and they win. A coach can get their team in a position to win, but can't make the plays for them.
36 I'd say definitely a coaching triumph for NE. 39 I didn't watch so can't comment.
