Overrated imo.
I find the movie quite boring.

I love the movie, but wouldn't call it underrated. Most Batman fans seem to agree it's awesome.

I love the movie, but wouldn't call it underrated. Most Batman fans seem to agree it's awesome. I should like the movie but I don't. I loved Batman: TAS when I was a teenager but even back then I didn't like Mask of the Phantasm very much.

It's definitely the best animated superhero movie, though Batman: Subzero does come close.

My second favorite Batman movie after TDK. It's pretty much excellent.

I agree. I like it. 'Batman: Under the Red Hood' and 'Batman: Bad Blood' are my favs but this is in my top 5.

6/10 Is good but as far as animated Batman films go I would say Under the Red Hood is the best.

"Your angel of Death awaits."
Batman does work best in animation.
One minus was the uncertainty of whether it was going to be PG or R.
The dead mobster with the oxygen mask--done in a way where you might think the Joker killed him, but maybe not.
I think it's depiction of the Joker was better than Nicholson and Ledger.
"Whoops! Ha! I guess the joke's on me. You're not Batman after all. Looks like there's a new face in Gotham and soon his name will be all over town... to say nothing of his legs, and feet, and spleen, and head..."

Batman:TAS is the best depiction of the character and Phantasm does a great job of showing the period leading up to Bruce becoming Batman as well as showing exactly how torn he is between keeping his promise to his parents and having a normal life.
10/10

I haven't watched it in years, but nevertheless, I remember it being one of the best Batman films ever made - animated or not.

I watched it first time 2 weeks ago and I thought it was mediocre. Too much time spent in flashbacks.

It's a good movie that I had on VHS, but the tape broke a few years back and I haven't been able to watch it since then.
I can't remember much from it, but I know I liked it.
