A thread for people to shoot ideas of what they think would make a good book and/or inquire if it's in fact already been done and they just haven't heard of it.
One I'm very interested to know if it's been done yet and if not I think it has plenty of potential, that in a fit of irony and karma, Holocaust deniers are rounded up and put in camps, by people just like them who spew the same arguments to them that they have ranted and raved for years. The ultimate shoe on the other foot. If it hasn't been done yet, somebody totally needs to write a book about that, it would be a #1 bestseller.

Since Holocaust denial is a crime in some places, the "camps" are basically a jail cell.

A book on about the Chicago camera industry....I know there have been many books on camera history, but I don't know if there's been one about the Chicago camera industry (which used to be pretty big in its day).
A book about collecting British cameras would also be cool.

Chicago had an incredibly long run as a film/camera city. As a matter of fact, Central Camera on Wabash still sells film and film cameras, especially to students of the Chicago Art Institute school which is within walking distance.
Altman's Camera, also previously on Wabash, was shut down because the owner refused his employee's to unionize. A real shame, since Altman's was a 4 story shop of photo joy...
