Decided to watch season 1 of Westworld recently. Went to HBO On-Demand and low and behold only 8 of 10 episodes are available for viewing. Episodes 4 and 9 are no where to be found. ARGH!
Decided to watch an episode of The Mick. Went to the on-demand channel went to FOX, went to The Mick and looked for episode 8 (the one I wanted). 7 is there, 9 is there but 8 is no where to be found!
OK maybe I'll watch a movie on-demand. How about Baby Driver? Sounds good, it's available on demand for $6.99 for standard definition! I don't pay that much for a ticket at my local movie theater and they expect me to pay that to watch a movie on TV in SD?
No wonder so many people are cutting the cord.

It's a dying platform with a dinosaur of a business model. Pay us $100 per month for way more product than you could possibly consume, and a good amount of it will be regularly rerun. And I'm surprised at $6.99 for a PPV movie, don't see many people paying that.

I cut the cord ten years ago and I couldn't be happier. Got Netflix. Never watch over the air tv. The only thing I miss is live sports, but that's a timesuck anyway. I don't have a good enough connection to use streaming sports services.
