Is books that are 70 or 80 years old being full price on Kindle. Such as John Dickson Carr at $7.99 or more a pop.
I also object to John D MacDonald's Travis McGee series being so expensive - $14 for paperback, $12 for Kindle! - when it's from the sixties.

As for JDC’s books, I tend either to read them via interlibrary loan or to purchase them cheaply at a used-book store. I also know that a bookstore near me has all the MacDonald books available for a relatively low price (about $5 per book)—I think that’s usually a good option. I love independent bookstores.

...and there is a Midwest store conglomerate that is called Half Priced Books. But this chain resells very old paper book tomes from up to 3 or 4 times their original price...how's that for "Half Priced"...
