Klaw and Ross were a little campy. I think it was Mbaku who started laughing out ofnowhere. Other than that this was a mature movie up there with Winter Soldier. I guess its gonna be a rare treat to get a movie with little to no humor. I would love another one.

It was and its a nice relief. The only thing that bothered me was in the final battle when the rhino suddenly stops (impossible for a creature of that size and momentum) and licks the person's face. Very cringey and eye rolling but apart from that the humour worked.
Hopefully along with Venom and Dark Phoenix it will be a good year for mature comic book films.

After last year having three MCU movies that were heavy on the comedy side of things it was nice to have one that took itself more seriously.
There were some jokes that didn't work, I agree with the Rhino one above but overall not too bad.

You know it's going to be a comedy, yes? And will you still be excited to see it after reading the Reddit plot synopsis? (It's out there, and its pretty brutal if you're a comic fan)

You know it's not going to be a comedy, yes? And will you still be excited to see it after reading the Reddit plot synopsis? (It's out there, and its pretty brutal if you're a comic fan) Why? What is it like?

(It's out there, and its pretty brutal if you're a comic fan) I saw the trailer it looked very mature Doesn't mean its actually going to be mature. The Sony made White House Down from 2013 had a very serious teaser trailer but all subsequent ads after were more in line of a buddy action comedy, which the end result actually was. I said this before, you ignored it, will you ignore this as well? Want another example? Those Transformers movie you seem to dislike a lot, the teaser trailer for the second movie made it look like an edgy thriller, the actual movie itself? Like the complete opposite.
