When parts one and two have come and gone and the MCU embark upon their next era, will general audiences still be in for the ride? Or will they be like - "Oh, no!...Not another 10 years!...Fuck this for laugh!"?

Possibly. It's not that it was just ten years of building up to Infinity War because the first four years were building up to The Avengers.
Once that story arc finishes next year then they'll have to start with something new and this time around perhaps some of the main characters like Iron Man or Captain America could be dead.
Perhaps they could just have smaller story arcs but I do think it'll reach a peak either this year or next.

I like Ant Man and want him to be a part of it. And maybe War Machine could lead.

Well they already changed the roster at the end of Age of Ultron and it still worked but yeah depending how these two Avengers movies play out I can see a more significant change in the future. You'd think Captain Marvel would become the new leader. Spider-man, Ant-man, Wasp, Black Panther and Vision. That'd be a fine roster.
